Ok, so I think I may have finally decided on a cb. But what's with all this mounting business, mirror, boot, gutter, hatch, side, body and what's with all the sub categories!! Snail, beehive, super, dv base and power stick. Jesus all I wanna do is talk and swear a little bit!?!?!?!

Basically can someone decide for me???

Pleeeeaaaaasseeee!!!!!!:blabla:

mount yer aerial on a stainless gutter mount towards the rear of the landy, mount the cb in the roof as it will be protected from water when wading

Exactly what I like in a person, some decisiveness, much appreciated, cb is now on order. All I got to do is fit it now!!!

and learn that stupid radio language. good luck to yer. I would rather the silence of a single motor :)

well prepared solo trips is the new extreme offroad!

Silence??? Not in my vehicle, LOL. Isn't a grinch just a moody little ****er??

I'm convinced CB protocol was developed by a Landy owner.... hence "Breaker Breaker" :)

I got an Albrecht 6890, Cobra external speaker, Thunderpole Orbiter antenae and a Thunderpole Side mount fitted to the back left of me hardtop. The Thunderpole wiring that came with the mount was ****, so I replaced that. Installed it last week and it works a treat. CB and Speaker installed in front of the fuse box as both the Albrecht and the speaker are held in on thumb screws, so it will all come out in seconds if I need to get at the fuses. Works a treat.
