6yeah.. everyone knows the melville.. never went in there tho lol.. tended to go out in town.. esp deansgate so really looking forward to next week...

boy that oil comes out fast when you take the bung out.. another oil patch to hide from them wot care about these things...

anyways.. how do you hold the pulley still so you can undo the fan then eh~???

If you hold the fan the pulley still moves.. screwdriver jamming might be the only way then.. I'll see where I can jam it..

do yu know wot thread it is? I know TDis are LH - but some rangies are RH!

apparently Boomer is yo guy on fan removal - give him a bell?

well I can't get the fan off but all the bits are undone and the oil cooler is just draining out.. I think I can lift the rad out past the fan if i'm careful..

still no luck - eh Tigger? I tried doing a search for ya - but most peeps (Trewy and Buster etc) just seem to say "remove fan - bolt goes anticlockwise" in true Haynes manwell style. Loads of threads tho if yu have a spare couple of hours. Might be worth PMing thems tooz.

Give the fan spanner a sharp tap with a big hammer (clockwise). That usually shocks em free.

and it's off...

anyone want to share their thoughts on whether this is my problem :D
