Can't remember if mines was tickin' or not before hand, but it doesn't tick now.

ere Buster - yu can check it by spraying the fannymold with easystart - if the revs rise, its drawing the easystart into the fannymold.
i'll have a look tommorow might finnaly get to bottom of the ticking,just been looking through your step by step guides some very usefull info there cheers busterbusProbably. Ah knew mines had gone by the oily soot around the knackered area... and ah'm sure ah could feel some blow by (it's bin a wee while)
Try cleanin' around the manifold as best ye canand keep an eye on it to see if owt's gettin' by![]()

just a bit,seen one of the fitters use it at work to set the nozzle on the tar sprayer on fire to clear it outi should say - make sure yu dont spray easystart on the exhaust - tiz a tad flammable.
