My 96 Mazda B3000 is making a very odd noise. While I'm in motion, it
makes a sound like an airplane is passing overhead. Its loudest is when I
am going my fastest. When I come to a stop, the noise stops. Does anyone
have any idea what's wrong with my truck?

check that your door are fully closed, windows up all the way and weather
striping is on properly. I have weather striping on my chevy that comes off
and makes the same noise

Clutch fan is stuck.

This is going to sound extremely stupid, but keep in mind that i am a girl.
:) My truck is an automatic. Could it still be the clutch fan? How much
does something like this cost to fix?

And, what's wrong with being a girl?

Open hood,

if there is a fan clutch, it is located on the engine cooling fan.
Again, if there is a clutch, with the engine OFF, you should be able
to rotate the fan, with some resistance.

DO you have a fan clutch... I don't know about your vehicle, but if
there is a finned device on the front of the fan at the center (hub)
it is probably a fan clutch.

The other poster meant fan clutch. As in the clutch that turns your
engine cooling fan on and off.

Here's a typical fan clutch assembly.
