Hi Ratty if your getting booked into the Travel Lodge for Friday, to get the room for £19 it has to be booked online or they will tell you it's £50. We've book the Dovey for the Saturday, phoned around a few places and the bottom line prices were all around the £75 mark so we booked the Dovey as it's above a pub.

Is the £75 for a room or per person? at those prices I'll be sleeping in the 90. FFS have you been to aberdovey. . If it was somewhere posh I could understand em charging that much. But it isn't even remotely posh!! It's a fooking dump and in Jan it'll be empty so they should be glad to get the custom.

Funny you should say that, when i phoned up for the prices it was like they were just making them up as they went along. It was a bit like this, How much is the room for the night, let me find out, quick brain think of a number between 1 and 9, times it by the cases of food poisoning we had last week and double it by the number of hairs on my arse, OH! that will be £75 pounds please.

I've emailed the cartref as they seem to be the cheapest of the lot. Will let you know what they say? I have a friend who lives near dolgellau me & Mrs B will be stopping at hers at this rate. :mad:

will be contacting the Awel and booking a room there. Does the £60 include a discount or are we going to twist their arms when we get there? Do I need to mention your name 90Boy?

No the £60 is with out a discount and i will be twisting his arm so i think he will give us some discount. Just say my name and that you are with the landrover crowd
 
just emailed them. I'll sort the deposit out and hold ya pies to ransom till ya pay me it back. :bolt:
