Putting a 300tdi from my dads old scrapped disco 1 into my 90 trayback. Just wondering will the LT77 fit the 300 (as far as I understand, it'll pull the engine back abit further which is no harm of course) or will I just have to get a R380 for it?

the lt 77 box fits the 300 tdi all you need to do is remove a couple of studs and drill and tap a new one at the bottom.

It all bolts together nice and easy, I have the same set-up in my 90.

I've not drilled the extra stud holes in the bottom yet and it has been fine for 3 years. It's a job that I intend to do soon though.

The engine sits very tight to the bulkhead, so you may struggle to route the air filter to turbo pipe in the standard route, or mount the airfilter canister in the standard 300tdi defender position.

You will also need to extend intercooler, radiator and oil cooler pipes along with adjusting radiator mounts.

i just fitted my airfilter canister against passenger wing like it would be in the discovery but then again i bought all my conversion parts from steve parkers so made it alot easyer and less to go wrong. Plus it came with all the destructions :)
