Hi all,
Does anyone know whether low/dead battery (p38) can result in any other problems, i.e can now turn engine but wont fire.
Thanks Marky.

yeah i found this out was throwing up all sorts of faults on dash and deff wont start i have 2 batterys now what a diff when you put a full charged one in mine wouldint start got a new one fully charged turned key and it fired first time where before it was turning over but wouldint start!

Loads and loads of other problems with dying or underpar batteries - charge it completely or replace it or you will end up with nothing but grief!!

Thanks,
But this has completely discharged overnight, maybe a new battery will have same problem untill I establish why it went flat.

Its a very well known problem - do a search on it on here and via google and you'll see. You need to change your RF receiver in most cases or at least unplug its aerial, as it picks up stray wifi / wireless doorbell / weather staion signals and kills the battery after a short period. New RF receiver costs about £150, don't buy from fleebay. Unplugging aerial from RF rec costs nothing, your remaote will still work but you need to stand close to the car.
