I'm in mid negotiation at the moment... hinting that with this bad winter coming and the VERY deep snow we're expecting then a lift kit is almost a necessity 
Oh, and if she doesn't want me to redesign the other sill then I definitely need one (and some rocksliders too of course)
I'm guessing you only have 50mm kits left, cos I'm thinking about going the whole hog and having 75mm, as my mechanic friend can get braided hoses manufactured at a sensible price.
So if I have to wait for the next batch it's not a problem.

Problem with a 75mm kit is you won't actually benefit the full amount from it, as the track rod ends will be on the chassis rails well before the suspension is at full travel. The extra height may also play more havoc with the suspension geometry than the camber pins can fix.
I could make a one off bigger kit for you when I make the next batch, but i'd need to know at point of order with a confirmed paid order so that I can get the wider spacer pieces laser cut and rolled specifically.

In which case I shall bow to your superior knowledge and stick with a mere 50mm.
I'll PM you as soon as I have 'er indoors convinced.
I do a 40mm kit, that way you don't need extended brake lines and just need to trim the inner arch and thats it.
Tell the boss you've been able to negotiate a discount or something, women love a discount!

Mine rubbed when I first fitted the strut back on, but once the wheel went on it stopped rubbing?!
Not sure why as I hadn't even lowered it off the axle stands!
But it definitely doesn't rub when all 4 wheels are in the road.
The garage did the tracking & camber adjustment today & they didn't mention anything about it either.

They'll only rub when the suspension is extended as the track rods are attached to the bottom of the struts so move up and down in line with the wheels.
I've never seen anybody fit anything bigger than 50mm, without going for the long travel monroe adventurer shocks and springs (+30mm) with a moderate kit to get about 60-65mm. But you're looking at a fair wedge of money for that. I doubt you can reliably get further than that, as when the car goes in for an MoT, suspension travel is checked, and the track rods will foul the inner wings on full travel, which is an instant fail.
Speak to RealBeale (Ian), ask him what he did on his Freelander rally cars for suspension lift. I can make you whatever you want to fit to your car, but anything beyond 50mm is at your risk, and anything other than 40mm is made to order

My rally Td4 has Fox Coilovers with remote reservoirs, and are fully adjustable for different ride heights and soft and hard settings. The front struts are both 13mm forward and 13mm higher up than the standard suspension set up and use completely different tubular wishbones. The rear set up is also modified.

Ah, had a feeling you wouldn't have an off the shelf solution on your rally car, whats the maximum you can raise your car? Obviously rallying doesn't have the same requirements as proper off-roading so the maximum height gain isn't as critical

They have around 4 inches more travel than a standard Freelander. I can adjust them up to this maximum travel point and I'd have around a 4 inch lift. But obviously that would mean I would only have upward suspension travel. What would be the point of that ? But I can adjust them to lift the car by 2" which would be more acceptable

My kit has been fitted by Terrain Vehicles. It is with them still at the moment for some other work. Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow.
I have the 40mm kit supplied by SES88 and camber pins by Monroe. Currently it is having the wheels all laser aligned.
The inner wheel arch has been cut away, but I have been informed that the track rod ends will catch on the chassis rail if they drop down on full lock, but should be fine most of the time, just if it drops down a hole I guess. We decided not to cut into the chassis rail.
The fuel lines have also been moved.
When I get the vehicle back I will post some photos.
