Hi all
Just wondering can anyone help, my landrover freelander has developed a knocking sounds on the passenger wheel area and I've had it inspected by an independent landrover specialist and he says my VCU unit needs replacing and also the knocking sound is a wheel bearing, please please can anyone help and guide me in the right direction to get it sorted, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

ah! dint see F2 - yu re correct - well sort of...... It has a Gen3 Haldex unit, like the superb X-Trail :behindsofa:.

my original thought when knocking from the wheel area would be drop link, but to be honest, my knowledge of the F2 is somewhat limited.

Can you go into any further detail about the faults?


Is it actually a freelander 2?
