You take a Triumph Bonnie box apart or rather put one back together again, and an LT77 box is a piece of ****. The ball ache is making the special nocker onners and puller offers. Who ever did it before me didn't bother with them and just used a hammer and chisel judging by the hammer rash in there.

I'm whats laughingly called a technician at a local college, but was a centre lathe turner for 30 odd years.

Nowt wrong with that eh. Got to get back what ya have given them for years...lol

Cool so ya like landy gearboxes do ya......lmao......:D

I have a discovery one at garage was thinking about changine input shaft into my LT77 and fitting the belhousing but i got scared.....dont like gearboxes

Is the gearbox end the same? If it's just a matter of swapping the two shafts it's a doddle you just need to shim up the 1st input shaft bearing.

Yes it is the same but it needs to be taken out through the gearbox so all the gears have to come out......

No they don't you just take the gearbox off the centre plate leaving all the gears intact the input shaft just lifts off the end of the gear cluster.

get a haynes manual.
its explained in minute detail in there.

Hahahahah ahhaah hehehah ehrehrh ahrhahah haaHAha ahahah AhahwehhaHah...................**** I just ****ed meself.
