Nah 1st time it went it just got stuck in two gears at the same time! so I stripped it, couldn't find anything wrong nothing worn or bust exept on the fifth gear synchro which had been put together wrong, the springs that hold the slipper pads in place were both going in the same direction, and the plate on the end had lost its noggin that stops it from rotating. So I sorted it all out and put it back together. And all went well for a few months, then it did it again only after a few minutes the I was able to get it into a gear and it would run as if nothing had happened this happened a few times. S o I stripped the gearbox again, ****in hell this is turning into war and piece, and again couldn't find owt up. So I replaced all the baulk rings the selector forks and the slipper pads in the synchros, One of the pads was quite worn. Now it runs OK but some times it's a right **** to get into 3rd, if I go straight from 2nd to 4th then to 3rd it goes it sweet as a nut, I think I'll replace the bias springs on the gear lebver housing next. Helllooooo are you still awake?
