D1 maybe they will fit a P38 but not a D2 they have R/H thread and rotate in the opposite direction.![]()
Odd, had D2 written on the box! Fits OK. Done a fair few thousand miles since. Still got the old one ... in the shed! Figured I might source a new core for it one day.
Just done another 1000 miles and north of Yekateringberg now and you can tell its getting close to Siberia...
Just booked in today to go up the leaning tower of Nevyansk don't think many tourists get to see this part of Russia
Sounds like fun... most of my Russian friends have never been that far East!. You should be sure of a warm welcome. Last time I was over the other side of the Urals, people couldn't have been friendlier and showed me everything from empty shortbread tins to pictures or our Royal Family and even a Paddington bear.
As with everywhere else in the world, there's the occasional Irish Bar in Yekaterinburg, but I recommend the Stroganov Grill on Belinskovo Ulitsa if you get a chance to stop in town for food.
