Had the sameJust been tring to explain to the builders what order to do things in as they seem to want to start plastering the walls before I have run cables and before they have finished putting plasterboard on the ceilings.
Sometimes I wonder.

plaster the walls then cut chases for services , concrete the floor then kango the trenches for foul water , you can't put brain's in coconuts

I've got the regulation eight. And two fumbs. (and before you say it, no knuckles are scraped)
Out little burn/stream has dried up, got one pool with a few small trout in it.
Yep, you'll be wearing nowt under yer kilt for a while now!!
Makes a change from yer long-johns!!
Ive never wore anything under me kilt & no I wont be showing ye.

So yesterday I couldnt come and give you all an update, cos my blood pressure wouldnt have handled the rant.
Safe to say that, after many "easy to understand" drawings on scraps of plasterboard about where the wood should be with measurments, simple 1s at that.
On inspection
You know whats coming dont you
.Yep they had made a right (enter any words you want that mean its a mess).
So this morning all but 2 pieces of wood came down and I was in there every 10mins to check.
I even told them to check a measurment " oh thats ok boss
" I mightwear glasses but I can see 40mm over 3.5m, checked and I was right, he looked at me I just nodded.Anyway I think todays progress was good and we can make it work
.Why is it sometimes hard to understand a simple thing, with centers being in the middle
.I think the youngsters are now understanding I am not a "stupid Brit" and know what I am talking about.
The older guy who has been here before knows and maybe he is now telling them "I told you so".
Apart from that been a nice sunny day with a few showers
