Scrap run tomorrow πŸ™‚

I notice the way you've put yer ratchet strap through the wheel, If I dont have the proper recovery straps with me I loop the strap round the wheel ie hook the strap onto the tailer front of the wheel go to the back of the tyre & loop over n drop down behind
the shocker, take it to the front of the wheel & then go towards the back n hook ratchet onto the trailer n tighten. Tis going back
to my recovery days works a treat. :)

It cant go sideways because of the rail so just pulling it from back and front to hold it steady, got winch on it as well. I do need some decent short straps one for each wheel though. Had some proper loops for each wheel at one time πŸ™‚
Also got no tie down points only front and rear

Replaced the spark plug cap on the mowing machine. Starts and runs fine.
But this arvo noticed that there are regular small spurts of flame out of the xhaust. (The heat/burn protection shield is off it at the mo having bust and me not having fixed it and put it back on, so it may have been doing tbis for ages.)
Normally I don't work in weather that is dark enough to see this, have no idea how long it has been like it.
Humph!
Guess I'm gonna have to give the valves and rockers a look-see, if it has any, (rockers I mean).
It has also, for a while now, been accelerating, engine note wise between ever 5 to 12 seconds. I just assumed the belt was slipping, but now not sure about it at all.
Have never played with machines like this before we came to have a place here. All stuff in the UK is electric.

Maybe the governor playing up. Timing? I like the old mowers boss.

There are two cooncil tips near here. One is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, the other Wednesdays n Thursdays. Got the car loaded up with rubble for a tip run, to the only one which accepts rubble. Before setting off I checked which one is open today - not the one which takes rubble :(. Had to unload it all again.
Best to unload it in case a skip wagon takes it away. Or someone puts a matress on top.
