It's people who are in their own little bubble and only think of themselves, their immediate needs and no-one/no-thing else.
My NDNEEBS spring to mind.
Out in the front garden chop-sawing wood for a new floor, plumes of sawdust up in the air and...all over our cars and our front garden.

Id have pulled out my pressure washer to wash my motor then soaked his tools, accidently on purpose mind. ;)

Not here yet. Useless water companies, can't plan ahead or fix leaks, won't spend on new infrastructure. Instead they plan to charge us more when there's a shortage.
Instead of wasting money on a vanity project like HS2 they should have created a national water grid to even out the imbalances across the country and created more reservoirs and storage facilities.

I had three jobs planned for today. Cut grass at the front, pull a few weeds out, chop up two pallets. Grass cut. Neeb took both pallets for his log burner so didn't need to get me chopper out :)eek:). Weeds can wait, it's too hot now.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
As much wood as a woodchuck could chuck,
If a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Shudda bort a samsung from argos.
It's replacing a Samsung which is going senile. The S/S is quite old, about 9 years so no surprises. It was a hand-me down from "er indoors when she upgraded a couple of years ago. But it has stopped doing things - like not letting me sign into my usual email account (yahoo), and won't sign out of my google emails. I have always had family cast off phones, only ever bought one new one 25 years ago, always had company phones too. Now I need a new one I have chosen Apple, which co-ordinates with my MacBook Air. I like the way Apple's operate.
Well, so far I have managed to get the sim in, taken from the old phone. Step 2 about to start. No kid needed so far.

Today's gripe.
The alternator spat it's pulley oft again..
How can a right handed nut that secures a pulley that runs clockwise undo itself?!

Cos it’s on a LR and can if it wants:vb-weyes:.

I can’t be bother to search shaft direction/pulley direction/ shaft Fred and any complicated formula for speed stress and Newtons elbow, right now so.

Just tighten it till your eyeballs pop see how that works:p.
