Funnily he works for Sunseeker, so he knows quality when he sees it!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Although he tells me that they are all show on the surface and not so hot behind panels and stuff!!
Do you ever get them up in your neck of the woods or are they more likely to be heading Medwards? :):):)

Quality 🤣🤣 sunseeker really means skip seeker, bayliner= binliner..
If I show you the machines going through these floating caravans youd see how weak these are.
Its shocking tbh. Older crafts are much stronger & safer.

I lost the plot with my apprentice today, I was putting the gas axe through the lower part of that digger....
(bits that carry the tracks with drive motors ect)
The rear balance weight was slewed out to the nearside so lifting the offside 3ft of the ground so I could do all the underside cuts
when I had done all 4 corners (its an 40mm thick steel) I was cutting the balance weight off (7ton)so there must be about 20 tonne on whats left. Again I done all the underside cuts so I had 3 cuts to do....
Middle one first then when I was halfway though the outer cut the machine moved, I said to the lad who was to keep the hoses
out the way & fire watch "this whole thing has just moved so keep out the way" I was nearly through the 2nd cut & something
caught my left eye !! The walloper was reaching under the raised part of it which was about to fall off OMG what a fright
I got. :eek::eek:
Does he not know to run fer cover when yer wukkin?

Just bin watching wot eye finks is a squirrel. He were checking out me new pipe running along me garage. Interested in me meal wurm feeder but stayed on the roof. Watched a burd come to feed en go. Moved to the support pillar to view it from a different angle. Got free quarters down me fence and looking all around then went back up. Looking very nervous. There were nuts on top ov me hedgehog box ferrit. Shame he missed them.

So me water butts collected 200L. Me ole meal wurm tub gotted 350ml. Mouth 250mm wide. Web ses:
Pie x r x r x h = volume ov tub
So vol / ( pie x r x r ) = 350 / 49087 = 0.00713
x1000 is 7.1mm deep
Which is about right.
200L / 7.1 = about 28 square meters ov castle roof.
Bit lower than recent figures. Will keep monitoring.
Now you need to calculate each individual plant spices water requirements?

Congrats! :D

Oh, a "Sawing" tip from me (don't laugh).
Beware the "Double-Cut" jack saws because if you do the usual pull backwards against your thumbnail to get started on your perfect line they saw your thumbnail off. Because they are double-cut and they have teeth to saw on the reverse stroke as well as the forward stroke.
It is not pleasant, and you only ever make that mistake once. I avoid the double cut saws now.

.... which is more or less what he said... which is why if you made them today like older craft, they'd cost much more and take longer to build by proper shipwrights/boatbuilders.
All Teak and Brass. Larvely!! Or proper welded steel.
Or do you prefer it riveted? Like the Titanic? (Gosh, did I really say that??!!) 🤣 🤣 🤣
He says that the people who come to work there know absolutely nothing, but "don't like your attitude" when he tries to explain to them how to do stuff properly.

Having lost the tip off one finger, I draw back against my thumb but further back and higher up the blade so it cannot do damage.

ex sil, an extremely good and experienced wood-worker, once cut through the tendons on his left thumb while sawing a piece of wood. He claims the saw hit a knot or summat, but I don't believe him!!

A moment of carelessness I guess.
He mended OK.

I don't think I have ever seen one.

Maybe if you started the cut with another saw then carried on with the double cut? Yet more faff.
