New log splitter on the mini beast.

Worked really well and I was really impressed by how it dealt with some trunks which were over 500mm in diameter. Ate the lot of em!

Didn't you know he likes to feel the elements upon his bare skin, so undertakes all outside work stark bollock naked, save a pair of white socks and a flat cap worn at a jaunty angle!

It is a well documented fact that safety guards, in particular pto guards are the cause of male woofterness.

The tow behind mower seems to sit too far away from the pto and the prop supplied with it is about 12" too short. Going to see about making one up to fit. Alternatively, im thinking of hooking up a spare 12hp honda engine to it so i can just drag that around with the atv. Keep the paddock topper on the tratter and the kids can pull the sweeper around with their quad :)
A new longer PTO shaft is not that expensive.
If you fit an engine to drive though the PTO input on the mower, you will need a reduction gear as the engine is likely to run at about 3K rpm and the mower input requires 540 rpm.

as the pto is only doing 540 rpm.. i cant really see anyones head going very far.

yeah i got one ordered at £35.99 delivered! bargain

i still might convert it to a seperate engine at somepoint though. Itll be more handy to have the quad rip it around and leave the paddock topper on the tratter.

Didn't read anything in the link about his head being found 150' away.

you are correct no details given. I was there when they had investigators there.
head was covered with a cloth, maybe the thing rolled there. All I can say was a mess, body parts all over the place. looked like it went through a grinder.

Point being just be damn careful and get a pto guard on.

Here is a 540 pto demo
