I have a bolt stuck in and I cant get it out. It seems that the bolt and the metal sleeve inside the bush have stuck themselves together. I can rotate the bolt with a spanner but im bored doing that now. I have tried generous applications of wd40, plusgas and some other stuff over the last couple of weeks but it aint going nowhere. I have also tried beating it severely with a variety of hammers. There isnt enough room at the side to get a grinder in without damaging either the bracket or the end of the arm . anyone got any clever ideas.

Alternatively, attack it with a gas axe until the rubber of the bush has burnt away.

you'd need steady hands to cut along the orange lines... which bit are you replacing so you can sacrifice it....

a semi trained chimp could cut along that orange line, it's just the bush - all he needs is two cuts through to part the bolt - the arm will then lift so he can beat the bush and the sleeve out

i accept I am less dextrous than a semi trained chimp.. but I would probably move, crack the disc and take my eye out trying to cut through that bolt down the bush..

Ah wonder if he stuck the nut back on a wee bit and hit it with a hammer whilst stickin' a spanner on the other end and twistin'/pullin' it at the same time?? Dun't matter if the bolt got fecked as new ones are quite cheap anyways and sometimes recommended to change it anyways;)

BTW slaphead, mind and stick some copper grease in there when ye stick it back together.. easier to take it back out the next time;):D

have you tryed getting it hot then using a punch try punching it out when its red hot will be easyer
