My name is Ashley & I live in Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire.
I've recently, and initially reluctantly, become the rather proud owner of a 1997 300TDI Discovery (three door, automatic).
Truth is, I'm moving over to sunny Spain later this year and I was actually on the look out for a small, car derived type van, something like a Corsa van or a Belingo van, which I could use to help transport my things over there, as well as use as a daily run around, then sell it on after I've moved.
My manager at work heared on the grape vine that I was after such a vehicle and reminded me he wanted rid of his Discovery, as he now drives a new Vectra it was surplus to requirements. He'd only owned this Discovery 5 or 6 months, never had any problems with it and told me he would happily let it go to me for exactly the price he paid for it when he bought it a few months previously.
I purchased it (08/01/2013) for £1000. It is taxed until the end of this month but is MOT'd until May. Theres 129,000 on the clock and is all round good condition.
