the bubbles would rise back up the tube and cant always be seen easily - it is easier to see the bubbles whilst the liquid is being expelled.

Yup, I agree, they always seem to do that. IMHO, the only reliable method is to use 2 people - loosen bleed valve, depress pedal, tighten bleed valve, release pedal, loosen bleed valve, depress pedal, tighten bleed valve, release pedal ........... repeat as often as necessary, topping up every 2 cycles.
 
I know I am talking without any experience here, but it seems a god-awful lot of work to change a clutch master cylinder!
 
118 was a long time ago eh?! And i've STILL not done it! Thas cos I spend all my time on here TALKIN' about it...!!:rolleyes:

I'm actually completely ****e at multi tasking! My brain can't cope with it. So I wuz tellin porkies earlier!:eek: I have the cavalry arriving in the morning so all will be fine... clutch master cylinder will be HISTORY!!;)
