had exactly the same problem with my 4.0 and ended up replacing h/gaskets and skimming both heads after pressure testing.hope you don,t have same problem::

Had a look and the water I put in to get me home has vanished, oil looks OK though.
Will let you know what happens with it, hopefully get it looked at tomorrow.
