Suppose I have "lurked" long enough and have now worked up the confidence to put my head above the parapet.

I recently bought a Freelander 56 plate TD4.

I have spent some time since buying said hippo fixing some of the problems the previous owner felt were beneath him. Like headlights not working. Or rear de-mister. Or instrument lights not working. Or the radio. Brakelights have also now been restored to actual working order.

Its done 60k so I guess I'll be on here a fair bit asking for advice. Please be gentle with me.

In return I will post a picture of my girlfriend sitting on the bonnet of said hippo wearing underware. If this will help.

I might add that any advice on what to do with a bog standard 56 plate Freelander 1 series on a limited budget (christmas coming guys) would be most welcome.
