Just introducing myself as I have just joined you guys. I live in South Africa and have a 2013 Freelander 2 2.2 SD4 with 235 000km on the clock. Have not had any issues except the turbo adjuster that had to be replaced. Other than that, excellent vehicle.

I've never had a Freelander but there's plenty on here who think they are the best thing since sliced bread, so you won't be short on advice and support

Word of caution. Please make sure that any advice sought id placed in the Freelander section.

Do not put such queries in the "Anything Goes" section. Many on there believe that Freelanders are the preferred vehicles of moffies.

There is a poster called @Hippo who will do his best to protect you from such abuse. He isn't really a hairdresser.

Was a slight oversight in placing the sought advice, did not realise it was under introducing oneself. Will relocate it shortly.
Tell you, I had a Kia Sorento, then a Jeep Cherokee 3.7 and now the FL 2 (for past 5years) and I am so happy with the FL2.

Much appreciated. Got to replace front discs and disc pades this weekend. 6 beers should be a great guidance
