I have a Discovery 2 td5 2002 with 21,000 on clock. went to have it remapped today and when on the rolling road was only producing 69 bhp. any ides as to the problem.

I have looked at the waste gate valve and seems ok, the vacuum pipe was cracked when I was looking at modulator control valve. I might have caused this. I cut the offending crack out and reconnected with no improvement. I have cleaned the map censer and the Air flow meter and made sure that the leads were connected. Still no improvement.

How many threads showing on the waste gate actuator rod?

Can you find someone local who has a nanocom to run the diagnostics live data check?

Thanks for your reply, Yes I think you are right and it needs live data. I will book it in and will let you know the results.
