Yes, Me K series is still going strong, in fact dont think she has ever run better and now sporting two tone leather steering wheel and wood dash kit (did not use all the pieces as seemed ott) but looks good! Yesterday i changed the clutch master/slave gismo - bloody awkward but dooable and the gear selection (especially backwards) is improved. :)

At last - a positive and upbeat thread about Freelanders in the Freelander section - particularly a 1.8 k series - what ever next..

Three resounding huzzah's for that man!!

Cheers Chap. I got fed up with FL owners on the forum constantly slagging them off. If you dont like it, get shot and buy a nice HondaSuzukabushi or sum such. I dont post so much myself now but still read once a week or so. THe Inde garage owner I use for stuff I cant do myself told me "stay off them forums - they'll frighten life outta yus". :)

Glad you're enjoying your FL! It's good to hear someone else is just enjoying their car rather than complaining about it! All cars have their faults! Take any abuse you get on here with a pinch of salt!

In a similarly positive note I have just got 'Mitsy' back from my local specialist after a new UJ on the front prop and she now runs like a dream - no undue vibration or groaning any longer. Excellent.

I know a UJ replacement is a minor job really, but alas I have not the equipment...or talent..

spending good money on a K-series, BoB would say that you have money to burn:D

Ah it's worth it though. Should be getting my throttle bodies this week (courier problems to ireland ). They set me back a fair bit.

BoB would say i got money to burn! Can't wait though :D
