hi guys ive recently purchased a 2012 sport.since buying i noticed the front and rear passenger doors wasn’t locking/unlocking then the problem got worse as now the electric windows don’t work on the passenger side and the electric mirror won’t fold in plus the indicator on the door won’t illuminate either.ive replaced both front and rear door locks but still having the same problem,I’ve checked all the fuses in the box and all good,I’ve changed passenger side door module too and the front passenger side door loom but still having the same problem of basically no power on both doors.does anybody have any idea of what this problem could be and how I can sort it out please??

First, you are going to upset our politically correct member Gold Rover by saying "Hi Guys" she wishes an inclusive term to be used:rolleyes:
Welcome.
If you bought the car from a dealer, take it back.
If you bought it privately, it needs to go on diagnostics, the electronics are a nightmare:eek:

The electronics are what makes girls like me happy. Hence you shouldn't ask 'guys'
1st. Get yourself some decent diagnostics. I recommend Gaps Iidtool, get it soon. Or ask someone near you.
Then, post the result. With Gaps you can send the results by email to yourself

To me it sounds like the foo switch pack, LHs or in the UK Rh.

Hi again.firstly sorry about the guys thinggetting myself into trouble before I’ve even started ha ha.ive had a code reader on the car today and the codes it picked up was
U0200 lost communication with door control module B -permanent
U2101 control module configuration incompatible -permanent
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Find the location of the door control module and look to see if it's wet. Water ingress seems to be a common problem with Land Rover products.

Just what i said.. the 'control module is right under the switch pack, actually it is all one thing till you dismantle it. Water comes from the switches when you drive in the rain or have a bad door seal (land Rovers never do :D)

You say "Module B", that implies there is more than one door control module. If that is the case, look at the other one.

I suppose it could be worth taking a look at the driver side module to rule that out I suppose.i would have thought that would come up with control module A thow

Go into inputs in your diagnostic, flick the switches and you'll see imeediately which side is the problem

So much stuff is interlinked that the faults shown can be one or more steps away from the actual fault.
