What motor are we talking about.
That would help !! My guess is Vacuum Pipe, Turbo Valve Servo, dodgy wiring, failed turbo or perhaps the thingamy-bob that connects to the whatsit doobry ?

Engine straight 6 , V6, V8, car L322, L320 etc? Or should we use a crystal ball?

Don't know that engine, but . . . . . . .
Start with the wiring to the "Inlet Valve Control Circuit", checking for bad or dirty contacts or broken wires. Then check if the turbo valve can actually move. If it does move maybe the position sensor is bad ?
At the end of the day the control circuit needs to operate the valve, and the sensor needs to feedback the position to the ECU.
The Mass Air Flow error is probably caused by one of the other three errors.
