I've searched for the thread but can't find it. Can anybody point me in the right direction please. Cheers

200 I assume?

It's not necessary on 300s

There might be some info on it in my thread from around this time last year.

I was hoping to do it on my 300 because the headlights are shocking. Didn't realise it was just done on the 200's. Thanks for the help anyway

300s already have relays so look at your connectors to make sure they aren't burned, put some quality lamps in there like Osram Nightbreaker, and fitting brand new lenses makes the world of difference, believe me.

Otherwise, you need MOAR lights

Cheers

Oh no they don't :) no relays in the 300 lighting other than the one used for the dim-dip function.
The multi contact lighting switch takes care of it all.

Isn't that the same thing more or less?

Or do they suffer low voltage issues aswell?

Sure I heard relays of some description clicking on our 300!!

So, if they don't suffer voltage issues, they don't need the wiring upgrading.

Relays or no relays.

I still heard relays or similar buzzing when I had a bad connection on one of the headlamp terminals.

Does the current run through the indicator stalk like it does on a 200?

If not, it must be relayed somewhere, even if inside the MFU or whatever.
