Hi there my name is Mick from lincolnshire, I am looking to get a 4x4 and Land Rover is obviously the way to go. Any thoughts on a 2.5 auto Disco, what should I look out for and are there any horror stories on the auto box. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Ive got td5, I checked out `honest john .co.uk` put in model etc gives you good points, bad points, recalls, what to look for all for free

I know, reads really bad, twice the amount of bad points than good. but just had to do it, I thought it might be a faze I needed to go through but it seems to have gripped me, I love it to bits (not the cost tho when it breaks)

Makes it look like it will fall to bits as soon as you drive it away. Has'nt put me off though, just got to sell my car and go out and get one.

I bought a A6 v6tdi a few years ago, all the reviews seid it was the dogs what nots, turned out to be a right bag of ****e and I had nothing but problems

It was'nt a one off either, going off the audi forums every one had the same problems.

Get forward and get one bought

get a series, at first it will be strage but once u get used to it u will find evrything else boreing to drive. i got a series 3 swb 2.25 petrol, it drinks it but i love the thing and ive driven my bosses 51 plate saab 93 and its just boreing to drive u dont feel like ur driveing ur more along for the ride where as with a series u gotta have ur wits about you so i would prefer to drive the series
