need to get my money back..told it was sound bar alittle rot..got it back(thanks to kris,see transport section,a1 job)

but its got more rot than metal...****ing lying ebay git..

so need to get some money back..

whats one worth as straight scrap?

whats worth keeping and selling?

spec is plymouth blue,fully loaded but with cloth seats,though they are electric and heated..glass elecy roof..really nice smiths alloy wheels with good 235 70 16's..funny anti glare mirror..nice 3.9 tuned engine (headers,k&n,yankie leads,new cam ..no noises etc) good autobox and bw transferbox...

i assume above may sell..not sure about the engine and box though ,people want v8's still??

oh, and lpg,closed loop underslung tanks...

in the pooh if/when mrs finds out..need to recoup money..idea on prices please..


oh and yes will be spreading discontent in the direction of seller...

Scrap value between £250 to £300 if ya lucky.

OR, are you going to break it for spares and sell individual components?
I'm always interested in RRC bits, as I'm always fookin breakin bits ;)
 
i will break it..but it has to be quick as at work...

Get on ebay, if you want quick sales you need to know what people are paying for bits not what dealers / scrappies hope to get for them.

You could just about build a Rangie from the ground up with the bits you'll find on there.
 
but most peoples on ebay are really hoping...£250 for an engine indeed!!

i was reoning on 250 for engine,gearbox and transfer box...tops!
 
Look at completed listings on ebay ie whats actually sold.
most sellers will add a little on the price, taking into account they've gone through the hassle of removing it.
If you offer postage (even if courier on a pallet) you're more likely to sell the bits. Use buy it now, not auction.

...I've had plenty of bits ultra cheap prices cos some newbie ebayers have listed something REALLY badly ie mobile phone pics, crap title words, 99p start n collection only

how much you pay for it zen? thought you sold the plates for evens?

got to mot it first...what bits was not rotten!!!


i can see though..floor,tailgate,rear quarters......inner wings....sills....

i feel a trip to bristol with the ex russky army boys from work on the cards!!

yes it can...though for later engines i prefer sequential injection type..

£50 if you remove..a1 alloy wheels,5 spoke with good 235's £100..good 3.9v8(complete) with performance headers,leads.(looked after engine)£100..225 with gearbox etc..abs working..£60 all in..elecy heated cloth seats.£30..doors £15 each with glass.roof including working glass elecy sunroof..£40.(to be sold last!)

i dont want a profit,just to make some of it back,if it helps someone to sort their rrc out for not alot all the better...has a good chassis,so will use that to repair rot on my old 4 door i was going to replace with this...but looking at mine over the weekend have decided its in really rather good nick,just inner wings and rear bit of chassis!!(which makes my 2 door showroom condition in comparision)
