Hi all,
I have a 2003, Disco 2 Td5. Lately it has been grinding sometimes in first gear. Not all the time just enough to annoy me massively.
Bit of background; Locally I couldn't get MTF94 here in Ireland. I went to the main dealer who advised me to use 75W80 oil (if I remember correctly) I have driven with that a couple of months.
I now changed that today for MTF94 and while it is a lot better, it is still sometimes grinding before I can get it into gear.
What can be the cause this? What are the likely suspects?
