Upwards mounted on the drivers wing was where mine was, swapped over to high pressure now though with EFI so I've built it into a swirl pot

Ive only seen them stood on there mounts
I want to mount mine under seat box in the midle ,easyer up side down

If you want it mounted that way I'd strap it vertically to the chassis using some good strong cable ties, not sure if it'd work as well upside down although you could test it indoors with a battery and tank of water

thats were it is, in a big ball of mud and sh*t ,with a fillter next to it.
a #### to get to when s eat box is back in

could you not mount it on the bulkhead then next to the washer bottle ? I've no idea what the pumps like inside all I remember is its a magnetic pump

I've had another look at it and a cup of coffe and a think.
Im gunna do wot the Doc says and refit it under the bonnet

I believe they're mounted low on the chassis cos they're not able to pull/lift fuel very well.

I've seen them near the fuel tank, pushing most of the fuel (like mine) and I've see them under the bonet pulling most of the fuel,
I allways thought they were universal as the distance is'nt that great

After wiping off all the mud I have found out it is a Facet pump(make)

I've done some mooching on the web and found people mount them vertically and its better pushing than pulling
