Anyone had experience with this unit - positive or negative - on your P38's please?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers Wammers! I'm sure the wider audience over in "AG" will be grateful for your informative reply and, perhaps, some will be grateful to "moi" for subsequently posting under the "AG" section...

Unless you have some particular interest in AG best to stick in here for vehicle info and problems. Not all, but some who frequent AG are total pricks.

Haha...I came to the conclusion that some folk must lead a somewhat sad existence...or were just a bit "prick'-ly this morning
In my humble opinion, life's just way too short to get hung-up over such trivial matters.

The foxwell may be limited,
Wammers, datatec and a good few others will tell the facilities on the nanocom outway it's its cost and most other competitors. I have an autel maxi pro that'll read some engine live data but only scratches the surface.
If your keeping yeh bus, consider the nanocom.
It also is a tool you can easily sell if you part company with the bus:cool:

Thanks for the excellent advice!
I'll have to save for the extra investment that the Nanocom will be.
Happy P38-ing!

Nice to see someone with respect for their elders..even if their comment refers to the younger generation!

Where does it say that p38 isn’t covered? My older Foxwell NT510 covers the p38.

What do you not understand about other than the Petrol engines, the P38 IS NOT OBDII compliant? The P38 diesels are NOT OBDII compliant in any way.

Doesn't cover the P38.
Thanks Datatek!
Great to receive accurate, concise info!
I've told my kids they'll be burning or burying me in the P38, so I'm in this for the long haul.
With your knowledge, what are the realistic options I have to keep her up and running?
Cheers!

For diagnostics covering all systems, Nanocom is hard to beat, or Faultmate if you don't mind lugging a laptop around with you and have deep pockets, nothing else comes close IMO. Both from Blackbox Solutions.
For just the EAS, the free RSW software is good, I like it better than other stuff, but again it needs a laptop.
I have Faultmate but use the free EAS software for the EAS.
Someone on here was selling a Nanocom recently.
