I looked at Halfrauds tools a while back and I thought they looked cheap and nasty and wouldn't last 5 minutes with a bit of abuse. I used to have a really nice set of Elora spanners and a set of Elora sockets that were given to me by the local Farm Services for helping them out alot when they were really really busy, as I wasn't on the pay roll they couldn't give me money but gave me the tools instead. After my dad died I wasn't thinking straight and sold the RRC for pennys, and sold me Elora tools for £20 sold all my other tools (Draper Expert) and all the tools my had aquired over the years for next to nothing too, sold his big compresser for £30
Now I've got a Landy again I decided I needed tools but decided I didn't like the look of Halfrauds and couldn't afford Elora so I opted for one of these and the place I bought it from had it reduced to £100
we've got the halfrauds professional range at college I've just realised. aye they're not bad, but we have noticed that the ring / half half spanners tend to bend a bit when used in conjunction with a universal adjustment tool
