I looked at Halfrauds tools a while back and I thought they looked cheap and nasty and wouldn't last 5 minutes with a bit of abuse. I used to have a really nice set of Elora spanners and a set of Elora sockets that were given to me by the local Farm Services for helping them out alot when they were really really busy, as I wasn't on the pay roll they couldn't give me money but gave me the tools instead. After my dad died I wasn't thinking straight and sold the RRC for pennys, and sold me Elora tools for £20 :( sold all my other tools (Draper Expert) and all the tools my had aquired over the years for next to nothing too, sold his big compresser for £30 :(

Now I've got a Landy again I decided I needed tools but decided I didn't like the look of Halfrauds and couldn't afford Elora so I opted for one of these and the place I bought it from had it reduced to £100 :)

Hmmm, I had a closer look at their tools today and they are OK, I'm more interested in their professional range of tool boxes......

we've got the halfrauds professional range at college I've just realised. aye they're not bad, but we have noticed that the ring / half half spanners tend to bend a bit when used in conjunction with a universal adjustment tool
