hi i bought an old range rover p38 4.0se 1995 as spares repairs, the owner said was an imobiliser fault, i have the vehicle fitted a new battery engine wont turn over, drivers door lock is missing so central locking via key fob dosnt work, so i connect battery try start engine and message centre says engine disabled, push key button , ive tried holding in the keyfob button together for 5-10 secs tried sep nothing happens , ive tried entering the code using the ignition key obviously nothing happens, anyone got any idead how i can at least access inputing the code, will no drivers lock affect this? i dont wanna spend cash on a new lock becm to just get engine going and find other massive faults
any ideas most appreciated
cheers

you cannot put the code in with no driverside door lock as thats where it takes it from. find out whats missing replace it then try it no other way i know to do it, also put where you are somebody close by you may have one or can put you onto one ..
