First should be a diagnostic test, find what fault codes are saying and move on from that information. It can be a minefield trying to second guess. Alternative would be to send your ECU for testing.Think I have a faulty ecu. Engine starts on turn over for a few seconds then dies, relay under drivers seat clicks off.
What basic checks can I do to confirm it is the ecu. No warnings on the dash. cheers for any pointers. G.

I have no knowledge of this product. It looks good will it cover all these vehicles at that price or do you select a vehicle and any additional vehicles are an additional price?.View attachment 253668 Got this back from one of the reader suppliers, is it BS or literally just a reader of codes.
Hey mate, I know this was years ago but did you ever get a solution? I've got a D3 doing the same thing. No codes, no warnings. Cranks, fires and turns over for a few seconds then dies. I've had some wiring checked over and been told to look at a faulty ECU but I don't want to go straight to the big problem if it's not that serious.Think I have a faulty ecu.
