am i right in thinking the differance between a dt and a dse is just the leval of trim and spec and that the running gear and engine are the same .

Yep.....

You'll find most DT's are Manual's too and DSE's are Auto's, although not exclusivly....but they are in the majority!!!

ok thanks for that .been and looked at a dt very tidy nice looking moter cloth trim basic but auto just wanted to clear that in my head cheers

Cloth trim usually means DT. Nothing wrong with that, i actually prefer the feel of cloth in the cold winter months, maybe because a have a DT... ;)

Don't know about others, but my 95' DT has AC, fog lights, sunroof and high line BeCM. It doesn't have TC and other bells and whistles though. Not even a trip computer. Or cruise control. Sigh! :monitor_punch:

Fog lights are not fitted as standard on the diesels ue to the location of the GB Oil Cooler....

They must have been fitted afterwards.

If it's an auto it ought not to have fog lights as they block the oil cooler.
My 96 DT has a sun roof but bugger all else:)

it's a manual, so all as it should be with the fogs :) i wanted a manual because i thought that it will be more reliable. Guess what, my slave cylinder for the clutch went... but still, 1 EUR for the seal was pretty reasonable :beer2:
