It must my age but I am sorry I don t understand the wit I did really think the site was to pass on help but to help one another now days it not COOL i assume that s the trouble with being an old fart
Oh dear, we've gone and put you off. Sorry. :(
This site definitely IS the #1 spot for help on all the older models of LR products.
Really Glad to see that you have resolved your problem.
Did lowering the glass (as I said) allow you to get a pick in there to pull the latch?
Those clips can get brittle with age, but £13-ish for a new one is a bit steep isn't it?

From memory I don't think those clips fit on the interior handle where the cable attaches, they are more for the rods from the latch.
Sorry did i miss how the door get opened in the end,,,,,,,,,o_O
Magic.

I have spent the last 5 years stripping it down to the bare chassis welding the chassis in 2 or 3 holes it was not bad a condition other
than having to remanufact a new rear cross member

When you are writing your replys over bottom right you will see a box (Upload a file) click on that ,then you will get a bit that says browse, click on that find you pic from your gallery and click on that it should then load, give it a go whats the worst that can happen not a lot.
