As I'm refitting my viscous fan I no longer have space for this big thing. Cracking air filter that I think is actually off some sort of heavy machinery. I bought it new and I've never had any problems with it whatsoever. It has two filter elements fitted as can be seen but it is in no way restrictive at all. They are a little oily as it has been used but not clogged in anyway and could just be cleaned as they are fine mesh and sponge as opposed to paper. There is a small hole in top where a part under my bonnet rubbed on it but I had just plugged this up with silicone, guess you dont really have to if you are not planning on getting water up to that height.
