3. The V8 prefers starting on petrol until it warmed up then switched to LPG via toggleswitch or automatic setup. A notable drop in performance as the petrol drains out to allow the LPG to cleanly take over. LPG is high in octane compared to Petrol and will make a slight pull when acceleration is needed.
4. Check all documents for LPG service history and likewise on the petrol side too.

My 4.6HSE Rangie was almost as agile under LPG as it was under Petrol. So the LPG system isn't so good on the one you tried or it wanted servicing/setting up properly.
You shouldn't really notice much of a difference (except in your wallet).

If its bad on petrol then it has problems could be as bad as a cracked block/slipped liner or as simple as head gasket. The fact it got better when warm means its not anything electrical.
