Ok, this ia a problem my friends dad is having with his disco its a 92 on a J.
The rear door (boot) lock have become inverted on the central locking. ie, it is always the oppisite or the other locks. When the cars locked it isnt, and when the cars unlocked it is.
No, he hasnt been fiddeling, he really isnt the type, and it just started to happen. if you just push the button down to match the rest of the car it still doesnt follow, it just misses a go the starts out of sync again.
Ive tried setting all the locks in the same position and ditching the battery for an hour but that didnt fix it. i just dont understand how the pulses have become inverted on just the one lock.
Any ideas?
oh, and no remote, its keys all the way.
