Hi Guys.
I have a 300tdi in my defender that was a 2.5TD, as the title suggests.
My question is.. how have any of you that have also done this, all be it 300 or 200tdi, routed the air flow from snorkal through air filter to turbo??. Also what piping and filter have you used to get best results.
Mine is running fine, but i can't help thinking that it could be done better.
This question is also spured on by the fact that the air filter box clamping brackets are broken and i need to find a replacement or change to something better.

Not much room to go round the back as in standard defender 300tdi

Make shift mounting arms for air box (you can see the metal clamp brocken on right side.

Broken lock clip on bracket other side at clamping point.

If anyone has a set of these clamps please let me know. Was going to start a wanted thread but interested in seeing what this throws up as alternatives or replacement, first.
