Hi all
Engine will not start without accelerator pedal being pressed and held during cranking. When attempting to start normally, the engine turns over but fails to fire. Once started with pedal assistance, the vehicle runs. Several components have been recently replaced, including crank sensor, coolant temperature sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, injector seals, wiring loom. Next thing that will be replaced will be the fuel filter housing and I have plugged it in to see if any code are up but all is clear but once it’s running it’s fine but especially after 10 minutes of light driving it doesn’t even wanna start by pumping the pedal, any help would be greatly appreciated

How long is a piece of string. You need to fill in the gaps before someone even remotely jumps in to help.

Did any of that needed to be replaced or are you throwing sht at the wall to see what sticks?

When completely cold, it will only start when pressing and holding the accel pedal?

After 10 minutes of light driving, you turn it off and try to start again but it wont start even pressing the accel pedal?

Well the pump was on the way out whining like mad and the injector seals were just to see if it would have helped but turned they badly needed doing with the carbon buildup and being the copper washers being damaged but the rest is partly see if anything of it will would work.

Yeah pressing or pumping the pedal it’ll just about start when it’s running it’s fine but like 10 minutes of driving turn it off and will not start even with the pedal pumping/ holding down

When you go to start it after driving, it cranks ok and not slow? Can you start it and drive it for a bit then it turn off. before starting again, pump pedal 5 times and let the prime function run for 5 min, can you hear all 5 injectors spraying fuel in? then try starting again, any difference?

What code reader are you using
