hi guys, i have a td5 year 2ooo and it has a diesel leak, i thought it was coming from the rocker gasket (would this be possible?)

Hello mate, i very much doubt that, i also just had this problem and found out it was my leak off pipes, try changing then 1st..

Fairly sure it,ll be your fuel pressure regulator.

About £100 for a new one and a hour or so to fit. ( maybe longer if you,ve got big hands !! ).

Cheers.

cheers lads, after giving it a good degreasing and hose down it looks like the pressure regulator.
when fitting a new one the book says fit new gasket and o rings, does anything go on the gasket?

also a bosch one from www.island4x4.co.uk is half the price of a genuine one, has anyone had any experience with the bosch ones and are they any good??

sorry lads, had to add this to go back to top....wrong end of the world, but previous question still there about the bosch regulator

Those EBC... Bosch regulators are not for Td5, you have to go for the MSO/LRO ones according to the modell(10P or 15P engine)

Thats it !!^^^^^^

The later one has an extra pipe on it. ( external fuel return ).

The gasket is a crushable type and needs nothing else on it.

I didnt change the O ring when I did mine, but it wouldnt hurt to replace it while its off.

Cheers.
