I have just bought a DHSE (when they were just a special edition) on a 99s with green piped lightstone, 125k , hurricanes, electric everything and sunroof. It has a good service history and has had a few things like new compressor, EAS valves, airbags etc replaced and all seems ok. Just having a couple of problems that I hope you can shed some light on for me.
1/ Hevac issue I have outlined on another thread
2/ Can you let me know how I can get the heated seats to work, the switches light up but nothing happens on either seat - could it be a fuse? Ideas...........
3/ How do I remove the interior pillar covers and either cover them or change them, they are worn and have scrapes etc
Thats it really, otherwise I am over the moon with it. Having it valetted tomorrow and cannot wait to see it 100%!
Can anyone tell me what sort of figues and average chip will give to this and should I worry that the engine has done 120k + when chipping. Do they really change the whole characteristics of the car?
I turned on the engine earlier to warm the car up before I put my daughter in it, when I came out and loaded up the car, I noticed that there were marks on the floor under the exhausts, almost like water spit marks - it was from cold so could be something to do with that. Is it anything I should be worried about?
