Hi all I am trying to remove my passenger door handle on a 1989 defender 90
I am having a bit of difficulty removing the screws as they have corroded and the heads are rounded off, can you drill the old screws out?

Hope someone can help

drill em or mole grips and wd40 mate

mine are the same, the main reason my new lock barrels are still sat on the dash!! post back, I found screws to be a PIA to drill out previously, the drill always seems to take the path of least resistance and head off to one side, leaving half the head still in the pigging way.

if you drill drill with a very small drill first to get the center before you use the big one !!!!

Decided to tackle the job tonight and used an 8mm drill to drill out the head of the screw, worked a treat !!
