having ordered swivel kits and stub axle kits we dismantled said and found that what was on the defender was not the same as the kits the axle code is 12L07825A cant find what vehicle this relates to looking for any ideas where i can find this thanks bob

Might help if you said what age and model of Defender we are on here, or is it a Ninety?

Parently on the Defender 90, it's stamped into the long (lefthand) axle tube, just above the horizontal weld...

Have you maybe thought of posting some pictures of the bits you are having issues with?

Lets face it, you probably stand more chance of winning the Lotto than turning out to have an unheard of Defender axle.
