You can't really, except by editing them to empty then leaving a full stop.

Actually I'd removed the engine bay fusebox to tackle a little rust. I was reconnecting all but I couldn't get a small white plug back into position. I thought I had damaged plug or pins but I called a mechanic friend who used a bit more force to eventually get it back into position.
