Not as in a CSK or the last one built but more special needs !!!!!!!!!!!
Having finally sussed the brakes and getting them to bleed ( more of that later ) I managed to break the brake light switch due to much work in that area. Replacement from Rimmers duly arrived and fitted, started up tested out Ok ,switched off but engine still running ,removed key,key back in tried again still engine wouldn't switch off. Can't be anything to do with brake switch surely - pressed brake pedal engine died . This can't be happening . Started up again and suddenly all back to normal.
After 10 yrs she still has tricks up her sleeve .But I couldnt be without. It must be something to do with the 'double' switch action -I did wonder why the original clicked twice ,the replacement is just a standard on/off.
For ref: getting brakes to bleed -from empty- disconnect pump, switch on ignition, perform age old method of pedal pump and nipple lock on all four loer front bleeders ( this allows the fluid into the master cylinder via the booster valves ) , switch off ignition and start Rave procedure from pump bleed section.

Does it have a run lock system fitted? I've seen a few vehicles fitted with a system that allows the vehicle to remain running with no keys in until someone presses the brake/clutch etc. Meant to be used for emergency service vehicles but when doing work with blackpool council some years ago their vans had it fitted so they could be left running providing power without the fear of being stolen.

Agree with Quavey, might be worth doing a DVLA check for previous owners.

New one on me , wouldn't think so though as prior to the brake switch change everything operated normally as it does now .The continuous running happened once just immediatley after the switch change. Might do a DVLA check out of interest but having owned for 10 yrs i pretty much know it inside out - or at least thought i did.
